We’ve been meaning to write about what an incredible time we had at the Doo-Nanny. There are so many fantastic moments we will carry with us forever. Our sets at the Possum Trot on Friday night and on the Main Stage Saturday night were crazy fun. The rest of the time we enjoyed playing music at the Junk Shun (the art booth we shared with Phil Cheney), building things, sharing meals with friends in the communal outdoor kitchen, riding bikes, etc, etc, etc. I’ve posted a bunch of photos here. Thanks again to Butch Anthony for hosting this magical festival.

The Doo-Nanny is almost here. We’re stepping it up with an art booth in the Junk Shun this year. Stay tuned for photos sometime in April.
Well, even though we don’t believe in Valentine’s Day, we are part of this Valentine’s-timed article by Dane Smith in this week’s Mountain Xpress, “For love and music: Local couples brave the choppy waters of musical collaboration.” Our pal Max Cooper took this great photo of our dog Max (and us) for the article.
We have shows coming up in WNC around Thanksgiving – Wednesday, November 21 at the Southern Appalachian Brewery in Hendersonville and Saturday, November 24 at Zapow in Asheville. Perhaps we’ll see you.

Good Folk Fest has an amazing line-up of artists and musicians booked. We’ll be there all weekend (Krekel will have a Krekprints art booth) – our Mad Tea set will close out the festival, Sunday at 4 pm.
Thrills! Chills! Watch out, Durham. (Poster by Krekel!)
Our next performance will be on Thursday, August 30, at 8 pm at the 2012 ICF Canoe Freestyle World Cup in Hartford, TN. It will definitely be our first ever freestyle canoe event. Can’t wait to check it out. We hear there will be people from at least 50 different countries there. Cool!
