Mad Tea Unplugged

On Saturday, June 11, we’re going to be playing an unplugged/acoustic set at the very sweet Bluff Mountain Music Festival in Hot Springs, NC. The festival features “Traditional Old-Time and Bluegrass Music, Ballad Singing and Clogging.” We actually know quite a bit of old-time music. We’re still working on our set. In addition to more traditional stuff, we hope to re-work some of our rockers into this format for fun. Any suggestions of what songs you think we should do?

  1. Just wanted to mention that I frequently play the two CDs of yours that I’ve bought, Flying Saucers and Post Consumer Novelty, here on the West Coast on a bilingual Salinas, CA, radio station, Radio Bilingue. It’s not on the Web yet, probably has a tiny audience, but I love what you do and play it a lot.

    • Very cool! Thanks so much for your support.

We’ll definitely play a track or two off of those CDs in our “unplugged” set.
